Department of Chemistry
The department of Chemistry in Thakur Bhavsingh Art's & Science College(C.G.) was established in 2004 .Graduation level classes (B.Sc.) are being conducted in Chemistry Department. The main aim of the Chemistry department is to present the science in simplest form so as to make it interesting and attractive to the students. However to keep pace with present day demand in terms of development in teaching methods and in quality education the department is endeavoring its best to keep on upgrading infrastructural facilities and academic program.
it's Program Outcome-
PO.1.The students would be able to understandAtomic Structure and Periodic Properties.
PO.2.Understand chemical Bonding, s-Block Elements, p- Block Elements.
PO.3.Able to understand Organic Chemistry & Mathematical Concepts for Chemist.
PO.4.Understand Chemistry of Transition Series Elements, of Lanthanide Elementsand
Actinides, Organic Halides,Alohols, Phenols, Aldihydes and Ketones.
PO.5.Understand Thermodynamics- I and II, Thermo Chemistry & Photochemistry.
